I came to first hear about Reverse Therapy when I was attending a reunion at my local hospital that ran groups for sufferers of CFS/ME. It had been a fairly new scheme and I think at that time there had only been a couple of groups run previously to one I attended. A lady I had never met before walked up to me and asked if I had heard about Reverse Therapy. I sadly had not at that time and so she walked off to see if anyone else had any information on it. A few days later a friend of mine, who suffered then with CFS, mentioned reading an article about Reverse Therapy. Being a believer in coincidence as a means to get things noticed, I went and looked on the internet and it was the start of my journey into training to be a therapist.

I attended an introduction weekend, which they were running then, and it made complete sense to me, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s to so much I had been sort of working out for myself but not managing to get quite right. Having attended the two days, it saw off the last of my symptoms and opened a whole new way of life for me.

In the coming weeks I will continue with my experience and what I have learnt along the way. May I take this opportunity to wish you all a swift recovery, it really is possible.
